How it plays

A top-down survival game in pixel art. Your survivors hold a field round a campfire, and every night the dead walk in out of the trees. You get the day to prepare. When night falls, it is out of your hands.

  Plan by day

  Buy guns, ammunition and supplies. Kit out each survivor, give them a post, and build walls, sandbags and wire on the field.

• 

  Watch the night

  The dead come in from the edges. Your survivors pick their targets, shoot, reload and run when the dead get too close. You can only watch.

• 

  Every bullet flies

  Shots cross the field for real. They can miss, hit a tree or take a head clean off.

• 

  One bite

  A bitten survivor turns within three nights unless you buy a cure. The dead stay dead.

• 

  Real guns

  Pistols, shotguns and rifles in real calibres, and a few stranger things. Guns wear down, jam and need repairs.
